The Reaction We Get
The impact of these workshops is undeniable. As participants adjust to the authentic and accepting peer-to-peer approach of the presenters, they begin to feel safe and cared for. This allows them to open their hearts and share what's on their minds. By the end of each session, enthusiastic connections and joyful smiles abound. The entire mood of the room has shifted from cautious reserve to enthusiasm and hope. It is a beautiful experience for everyone involved!
Participants consistently ask when we can return to deliver another workshop. We also receive letters from many inmates expressing their gratitude and how meaningful the workshop was to them.
